We supply and fit electric underfloor heating systems for inside the home, leisure or workplace and we are specialists in these systems, advising clients on the best system for them depending on the room size and chosen final floor covering. However, we are also able to supply and fit electric heating systems for external paths, driveways and disabled access ramps. We can also recommend quality suppliers and fitters of water underfloor heating systems, who we have worked alongside previously. We are happy to discuss these options with you if you require them. How is underfloor heating installed? Electric underfloor heating is installed with minimum disruption as there is no major construction work involved. Our advanced heating system can be laid on existing floors including wood and concrete, raising the floor level by just 3mm to 6mm. The heating element is laid on your existing floor, setting it into a sub-levelling floor screed, giving you an ideal level surface for your final floor covering and also protecting your cable system. Whilst awaiting for your floor covering to be fitted by your fitters, and once dry, you will be able to walk on the latex covered floor (in flat shoes!). We will install a battery operated alarm unit which monitors your underfloor heating, giving you peace of mind whilst your final floor is being fitted. Once your new floor has been laid, we will return to test your heating system and connect it to your existing electricity supply. Most systems can be laid and installed within a day, depending on the size of the room and number of rooms to fit. Connections will take place when your new floor covering has been fitted and takes just a few hours in most cases. Is underfloor heating safe and reliable? The systems we use are the most responsive and safest systems on the market and manufactured to the highest standards and regulations. The element has a protective coating and the earth lap screen offers double protection against fire and electric shock. The system is totally waterproof. Underfloor heating will give you years of reliable warmth and comfort and is totally child and pet friendly. |
